MTG: A Villianous Halloween
What Is Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween?
Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween is a special Commander event scheduled between October 31 AND November 2, offering a unique twist on the popular Magic format. Players bring their own Commander decks and, at the start of the game, secretly choose a villain card, each representing a classic villain from Magic’s history with its own alternate win condition.
As the game unfolds, players can work toward their secret objective. Once a player meets the condition on their chosen villain card, they reveal it—and from that point on, each opponent loses the game at the end of their own turn, unless they can stop the villain in time.
As a reward for participating, players can take home a pack of event materials (while supplies last), making it a memorable and replayable experience beyond the event. Each pack supports four players, but the expectation is that each participant will receive their own pack to bring the fun home.
Event Start: 5:00PM
Entry Cost: $15

Flesh and Blood-Casual Armory Event
1. What is an Armory Event?
An Armory Event is the Tier 0 of official Flesh and Blood organized play, meaning it is the most accessible and casual level of tournament play.
Primary Goal: To provide a fun, regular meeting point for the local community, introduce new players to competitive play, and reward participation.
Frequency: Stores are officially permitted to run one Armory Event per week.
Rules Enforcement: They are run at a Casual Rules Enforcement Level, meaning judges and experienced players focus more on educating and helping than on strict penalties. This is perfect for your focus on new players!
2. Formats
Armory Events are flexible and can run different formats, but they are typically one of the following. Your event organizer decides which one to run:
For most events (Casual Armory on Mondays): Classic Constructed is often played. Loaner decks are available. *LIMITED availability
3. Tournament Structure (Swiss)
Armory Events use the Swiss System (unless running UPF).
Rounds: Players are paired each round with someone who has a similar win/loss record. You will generally play 3 or 4 rounds total, depending on attendance.
Best-of-One: All matches are a single game.
No Elimination: Even if you lose every round, you can stay and play until the end of the event.
4. Prize Support (The Armory Kit)
This is the main draw for many players. Legend Story Studios (LSS) provides stores with a monthly Armory Kit that contains exclusive prizes:
Important Note for our Event (FREE Entry): Since our event is free to enter, giving prizes like packs per win may not be feasible unless the store is covering the cost. The standard prize for a free event is to distribute the official Armory Kit promos as described above.
5. Player Benefits
Participating in an Armory Event offers several official benefits:
XP (Experience Points): Players earn 3 XP per match win (except for UPF). This XP accrues on their official GEM player account and helps them climb the FAB rankings, which can lead to invitations for higher-level competitive play later on.
Community: It's the best way to meet the local FAB community, find trade partners, and practice.

One Piece Card Game Store Tournament Breakdown
1. Format and Deck Construction
2. Time Limits
3. End-of-Time Procedure (After Extra Time)
If the game has not concluded after the initial 35 minutes plus the 5-minute extension, a procedure is used to determine the winner:
Current Player's Turn: The current turn becomes Turn 0.
Additional Turns: Players complete 3 additional turns (meaning the player whose turn it is when time is called gets to finish their turn, then the opponent gets a turn, then the first player gets a final turn).
Tiebreaker: If the game is still not over after the 3 additional turns, the winner is determined by the following criteria, in order:
Highest Life Cards wins.
(If tied) Higher number of remaining cards in their Deck wins.
(If tied) More Character cards in the Character Area wins.
(If tied) The player who last drew a card from their Life Area wins.
If all are tied, the result is a Double Loss.
4. General Tournament Rules & Etiquette
Official Rules: All matches are played according to the latest version of the official Tournament Rules Manual and Floor Rules.
Sleeves: Sleeves are strongly encouraged. All cards in the main deck must use the same type of opaque sleeve. Your Leader card and DON!! cards can use different sleeves to distinguish them.
Cheating/Rule Violation: If you suspect a rule violation or are unsure about an interaction, immediately raise your hand and call for a Judge (or the store staff running the event). Do not continue playing until a ruling is made.
Slow Play: Players are expected to play at a reasonable pace. Intentionally taking too long can result in a warning or penalty.
Spectators: Spectators are generally not allowed to interfere or give advice to players during a match.

Spider-Man Pick-2-Draft Friday at 6:00 pm
The best way for four players to draft! Like a traditional booster draft, each player will start with three booster packs. In Pick-Two Draft, players always select two cards from each booster pack and then pass that booster pack to the next player. For the first booster pack, players pass the cards to their left. Once all players have selected all the cards from the first pack, they'll open a second pack, continue selecting two cards at a time, and pass the pack to their right. After all those cards are drafted, players do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 42 cards, which they can use to build a 40-card deck, adding in any basic lands they need.
Players should play one-on-one games after the draft. In a four player Pick-Two Draft, players should play two rounds, with the winning players from the first round pairing up, and the other two players also pairing up.
Entry price—$25
Every player in THE event will get a Booster Pack at the event end
